Label Art By Claire Magee

Glass fusing is a process in which two or more pieces of colored glass are placed together in a kiln and heated until they melt or "fuse" together.  Each label is individually hand made over the course of several days using numerous pieces and requires two or more firings to complete.  Each firing lasts between 17 and 24 hours and reaches temperatures close to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.  Due to the nature of the kiln working process and the fact that the glass used is entirely hand crafted, no two labels are ever identical.  Each label is signed, dated and numbered.
