Belle Vallee Cellars: Alpine Vineyards

Established in 1976 Alpine Vineyards sits in a rain shadow of the east side of Oregon's coastal range in southern Benton County, at elevations ranging from 600' - 650'. Alpine Vineyard is one of very few orginal un-phyloxerated plantings/vineyards in the Willamette Valley. This unique 25 acre vineyard is home to primarily pinot Noir but also 2 acres of Pinot Gris, 2 acres of Chardonnay and interestingly a small very sucessful planting of Cabernet Sauvignon. Owner Dan and Christine Jepsen are pioneers in the early Oregon Winemaking/Growing industry.
